Legend LX Twilight Regulator

If you want the same high performance features and ease of breathing as the Legend LUX but without the pink gold finish, you will find it with the Legend LX. Like the Legend LUX, the Legend LX features the Master Breathing System (MBS).

• The MBS is a new, simple and effective way to adjust the breathing performance of your Legend LX. The MBS controls two functions at one time. It controls the direction of air, which alters the venturi effect, as well as changes the opening effort. One control — two functions, it doesn't get easier.
• New Twilight stainless steel accent ring
• Smaller Comfo•bite(TM) mouth piece designed for smaller mouths and a detachable silicone bridge which fits across the upper palate
• All new twilight regulator bag for storage

Linea

A beautiful single lens mask made specifically for the woman diver. This mask uses the latest technologies to provide the ultimate in form, fit and function.

• Using Micromask technology, the Linea's lens, skirt and frame are molded together in one shot as opposed to other masks where multiple pieces are snapped together. This allows the lens to come close to the face which maximizes the field of vision.
• Low volume means that the mask is easier to clear and reduces the buoyancy
• Advanced Fit Technology (AFT) uses bands of different textures around the edge of the skirt resulting in a superior seal against the face
• The mask skirt goes further back on the face enhancing the comfort and reducing the marks left behind on the face.
• The clever Comfort Buckle System (CBS) prevents the diver's hair from getting tangled in the buckle

Amazing video of dolphin seeking help from scuba divers
AMERICAblog (blog)
It turns out that the dolphin had fishing line and a hook stuck on one of its fins, so it approached a group of divers who were watching manta rays at night near Kona, Hawaii.

Colin Zylka‘s insight:

This should bring a tear to everyone’s eye that watches….

Pearl Lake Spring/Summer 2013 Outings Scheduled

Over the past five years, we have been having tons of fun heading down to Pearl Lake, located just over the Wisconsin/Illinois border in South Beloit. Pearl is a privately owned lake that has lots of fun things underwater, like a school bus, airplane, panel truck, and the newest attraction is the steam shovel. Most of the attractions are in less than 40 feet of water, so everyone can dive!
On these outings we usually meet at the Delafield store around 730am, get any gear we need, and head down for a day of diving. These outings are perfect for the newly certified diver, or for those that just want to get wet and have some fun. You can do as many dives as you wish, and airfills are available at the lake. We usually are back at the Delafield store around 5pm.
We will bring a grill and the store supplies the brat, buns and condiments….everyone is responsible for bringing their own side dishes and beverages.
The only costs for these outings are the $20 entrance fee to Pearl Lake, and any rental gear needed. Sorry, we do not transport any rental gear to and from the lake. Advance signups and rental gear reservations are required!
The dates for spring/summer 2013 are:

May 23

June 13

July 11

August 8

August 29

September 19

Stop by or call the Delafield store at 262-646-8283 to sign up!
