Another Successful PADI Ice Diver Specialty Class Completed
This past weekend saw another successful completion of a PADI Ice Diver Specialty Class, with our own Carl Lange, Kira Kaufmann and Michael Haynes conducting the dives for the class. The weather was very nice for this time of year, and everyone who completed the class learned about ice conditions, proper safety procedures and ice diving emergencies. Congratulations everyone! Here are some photos from the weekend. Find out more about the Ice Diver Specialty Course?

Pearl Lake News
I just received a newsletter from Pear Lake, located near South Beloit, Illinois that had some interesting news. First of all, they have a new dive site, called “The Patrol Boat”….it is a fiberglass vessel that was used by the Coast Guard many years ago on Lake Michigan. It’s 30 feet long, with an 8 foot beam. The wheelhouse stands over 12 feet off the bottom. The wreck is located in about 25 feet of water halfway between the submarine and the Thora Ann. They are referring to this area as Pearls’ own “Wreck Alley”.
Also, they have announced that Saturday, April 23 will be the opening day for the 2011 dive season. Entry fee is still $20 per person.
And their website
We have some dates already planned for outings to Pearl, give us a call at the Delafield store for more details. 262-646-8283
