This course provides training to recreational divers to recognize some of the signs and symptoms of decompression illness. In addition, the student will learn to deploy an emergency oxygen unit with three different breathing mask options, while activating emergency services. The course consists of home study with the course manual, followed by classroom discussion and review, and then hands-on practice with the oxygen system and scenario practice. This course also qualifies for PADI Specialty recognition.
