It all began with the curiosity of a child swimming in Wisconsin lakes and wondering, "what's it like down there". To find out, I became a PADI certified diver during college in 1988. After that, scuba diving became a passion because once the diving bug bites you, you live with the sting. After several years of diving in the Caribbean and around Wisconsin, I continued my diving education with more PADI courses. I decided to "Go Pro" after taking the PADI Rescue Diver course, which is a very rewarding class. After being a PADI Divemaster and working for Underwater Connection for a few years, I decided to become an Instructor so I could help others enjoy the great sport of diving.
