Master Scuba Diver

"The Black Belt of Diving"
The PADI Master Scuba Diver certification represents the highest non-professional certification in the PADI system of diver education.
The purpose of the Master Scuba Diver
rating is to:
- Provide divers with a worthwhile goal. The wide variety of experiences gained while pursuing this training provides a solid foundation for both the enthusiastic recreational diver and those headed up the leadership path.
- Recognize divers for gaining a broad base of experience in a number of diving specialties. This is especially important for traveling divers, as it shows dive resorts that you have more experience than the average recreational diver.
